How to Use BioVermiculite™

BioVermiculite™ is a 1:1 drop-in replacement for vermiculite and perlite, formulated to replace peat moss. Use it in any existing blend or follow the application rates below for specific use cases.

Home Garden & Landscape Beds

Spread 2 cubic yards per 1,000 sq. ft.
Method: Till 6 inches into existing soil. Prepare 2–3 weeks before planting for best results.
Benefits: Improves drought tolerance, drainage, and nutrient efficiency for resilient plants.

Transplants

Instructions: Dig hole 1.5–2× wider than root ball. Mix excavated soil with BioVermiculite™.

Best Practices

Prepare amended soil 2–3 weeks before planting for optimal microbial colonization.

BioVermiculite™ is pH 9.3 — monitor overall mix pH when blending with acidic components.

Store in a dry location. Product is lightweight (286 #/CY) and easy to handle.
