How to Use BioVermiculite™

BioVermiculite™ is a 1:1 drop-in replacement for vermiculite and perlite, formulated to replace peat moss. Use it in any existing blend or follow the application rates below for specific use cases.

Best Practices

Prepare amended growing media 2–3 weeks before use for optimal microbial colonization.

BioVermiculite™ is pH 9.5 — monitor overall mix pH when blending with acidic components.

Store in a dry location. Product is lightweight (290 lbs/CY) and easy to handle.

Safe for edible gardens — contains no added synthetic chemicals. Produced from responsibly managed forestry byproducts.
